FLYING FISH
Vom Schiffsbaumeister Jeremiah Burnham entworfen und im Jahre 1860 vom Stapel
gelassen. Das Vorbild für schnelle, schlanke Fischfang-Schoner. Mit ihrer
schnittigen Rumpfform und der großen Segelfläche war die Flying-Fish einer der
schnellsten Zweimastschoner der Fischereiflotte von Gloucester.
Sieben Bauplanbogen und eine ausführliche Anleitung erläutern den Zusammenbau
bis ins kleinste Detail, so dass auch weniger Geübte dieses Modell ohne Bedenken
angehen können. Alle Holzteile sind fertig ausgesägt. Die Segel liegen fertig
genäht bei.
