Die Scotland geht auf das 18. Jahrhundert zurück und zählt zur Klasse der
Ketsch-Yachten. Sie wurde vorwiegend für den Transport von Waren im Ostseeraum
und dem Baltikum eingesetzt, wofür sie jedoch eine erstaunlich weiche Rumpfform
und starke Besegelung aufweist.
Der Baukasten ist sorgfältig mit ausgesägtem Kiel, Spanten und allen weiteren
Details ausgestattet. Die Beschlagteile aus Messingguss und geätzten
Messingteilen sowie der Stoff für die Besegelung liegen dem Baukasten bei. Eine
Bauanleitung mit ausführlichem Bauplan ist ebenso enthalten.
