GOL Stabkirche
Wooden construction kit
This model represents the stave church "Gol" in the Norsk Folkemuseum
in Oslo. The oldest parts of the church still preserved today have been dated to
1212. It was moved from "Gol" in Buskerud province to its present location in
1884 and reconstructed in 1885.
Although the church is now only a museum exhibit after its relocation and
reconstruction, many services and masses have been held there since 1907.
Kit contents:
All parts, including the intricate thin roof shingles, dragon heads,
and roof mouldings are fully laser-cut, making it easy for you to build the
model. The kit is rounded off by a detailed construction plan with building
instructions.
