Emile Robin

revised RC kit from Billing Boats.

MRB 20 "Emile Robin" was delivered in 1989 from the North Sea Shipyard in Ringkøbing, Denmark. The lifeboat was named after Parisian merchant Emile Robin, a philanthropist, cognac manufacturer and vice-president of the French charity La Société Centrale de Sauvetage des Naufragés (Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked People). Emile Robin is one of the most important benefactors in the 150-year history of the Danish Lifeboat Service. MRB 20 "Emile Robin" is permanently stationed at the lifeboat station in Hvide Sande on the west coast of Denmark.

Kit contents:
All wooden, plastic and hardware parts required for construction are included. A 1:1 scale building plan and illustrated building instructions complete the kit from Billing Boats.

Billing Boats is a traditional model building company from Denmark with beautiful ship types from the North Sea, but also with famous classics such as the Calypso or African Queen. Mr. Billing himself invented the semi-hull construction method, in which two halves of the hull are first built flat on the building board and then assembled. The 600 series by Billing Boats is manufactured in this construction method, which is very suitable for beginners. In the last three years Billing Boats unfortunately had a very difficult phase, out of which the company is constantly and with great commitment of the Billing family working out again. However, at times longer delivery times or unexpected production bottlenecks must be expected, for which the family asks for understanding and patience.

Billing Boats also consistently uses laser technology to cut out the wooden parts and supplies beautiful fittings made of plastic and brass. The kits are always designed for quality at an affordable price.
